Why We Work Out of a Truck Instead of a Building
Every repair shop shares one assumption: that you can get the car to them, and then live without it while it waits its turn. Tow it, limp it, borrow rides, burn a Saturday. For a huge share of real-world car trouble — the no-start in the driveway, the brakes you shouldn’t drive on down an Asheville grade, the check engine light before a trip — that assumption is the most expensive part of the repair. We removed it. The tools, the parts, and the mechanic come to the vehicle, anywhere in Asheville and Buncombe County, in a time window you choose.
How We Work
Your schedule, genuinely. The appointment is built around your day — before work, mid-shift in the employee lot, Saturday morning at home — not around a service counter’s queue. That’s the product.
Free quotes, first. You describe the problem, we diagnose at the vehicle, and you get the number before any work starts. If we find something different mid-job, the wrenches stop and your phone rings.
Test, don’t guess. Half this trade is knowing which of four possible parts actually failed. We test the battery before selling an alternator, and vice versa. You pay to fix what’s broken, not to rule things out at your expense.
Straight verdicts. Some jobs genuinely need a shop lift — internal engine and transmission work, alignments. When yours does, we say so at diagnosis, and you tow once, to the right place, knowing exactly what it needs.
Insured and tidy. Fully insured mobile repair. Mats down, fluids caught and hauled off, your driveway or your employer’s lot left the way we found it.
The Territory
Asheville is home base — downtown, West Asheville, the UNCA side, Biltmore Village, and the ridge neighborhoods. From there we run all of Buncombe County: Woodfin, Weaverville, Leicester, Candler, Enka, Arden, Fletcher, Fairview, Swannanoa, and Black Mountain, plus the rural routes between. Monday through Saturday, 7 AM to 7 PM Eastern.
